Entry Level HWO Operator
Due to continued growth, WellGear is seeking Entry Level HWO Operators to join our expanding and dynamic team.

Role:
This is an entry-level position offering excellent opportunities to gain valuable industry experience, develop practical skills and progress within the business.
The successful candidate will work as part of our field team, both onshore and offshore, operating WellGear’s HWO units. The role will involve significant periods working across European and international locations, along with occasional work supporting maintenance activities at our Aberdeen Workshop.
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Performing general deck duties
· Power washing and general equipment cleaning
· Lifting and hoisting operations
· Operating engines, pumps and other machinery
· Carrying out equipment maintenance
· Undertaking heavy manual labour
· Working both day and night shifts
· Working outdoors in all weather conditions
This role would suit a candidate with the following qualities:

· Strong team player with a positive "can-do" attitude
· Physically fit and capable of working in demanding environments
· Comfortable working at height
Beneficial to have:
· Knowledge or experience of Hydraulic Workover, Snubbing, Coil Tubing or Pumping operations
· Mechanical and/or electrical knowledge
· Previous agricultural, forestry or trawler experience
· Experience with lifting operations
· Offshore BOSIET and medical certification
· OPITO Banksman/Slinger certification
Education:
No specific educational requirements are necessary; however, completion of a mechanical or engineering course would be advantageous.
Experience:
This position would suit someone with previous experience working away from home in a physically demanding environment. We are looking for individuals who are hardworking, reliable and driven to develop their skills and perform to the best of their ability.
