We are actively recruiting a Wedding & Events Co-Ordinator on a 32-hour basis, to join our excellent Sales team at Gisborough Hall Hotel.
As Weddings & Events Co-ordinator, you will help to maximise function space, occupancy and revenue and will sell all hotel facilities, working towards achieving hotel targets.
As a key member of the sales team, you will
- Handle a range of enquiries including weddings, corporate and private event enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Carry out show rounds, conducting personalised venue tours for prospective couples/clients, aiming to convert into sales.
- Coordinate reservation enquiries to ensure flawless booking processes.
- Manage the end-to-end planning process of events including menus, table plans and vendor requirements and insurances.
- Produce highly detailed function sheets and communicate effectively with front and back of house operations to ensure slick delivery.
- Prepare and issue event contracts and invoices, securing deposit payments where required.
- Foster long term relationships with clients, to encourage repeat bookings.
- Provide the continuity of service that exceed clients’ expectations and in line with Gisborough Hall values.
The successful candidate will:
- Have outstanding customer service and sales skills
- Be well organised with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Be a strong communicator both verbally and in writing
- Excellent IT skills.
- Be a self-motivated, target driven individual who is a team player, enthusiastic, hardworking and keen to learn and develop.
- Have a hospitality background (desirable)
Flexibility in this role is essential, hours can start from 8am and finish up to late and will include weekends, evenings and bank holidays, to support with large scale events or showcases/wedding open days. Hours will be on a rota basis.
