Overview:
We are looking for a Part-Time Barista who is able to work between 3-4 shifts to join our team and help us deliver exceptional coffee experiences to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a love for great coffee, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service. Living locally is ideal because you have to start working early in the morning
- Start work promptly at 5:45 AM
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty items
- Assist customers in selecting beverages and answering questions about the menu
- Operate coffee equipment such as espresso machines and grinders with confidence
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met at all times
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Support the team with general food prep and store upkeep
Skills & Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a coffee shop or similar environment
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable manner
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Basic food preparation knowledge and understanding of food safety practices
- Comfortable with basic maths and handling transactions
- A can-do attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the role
Pay: £12.71 per hour
