This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and inspirational Allied Health Professional leader to join Gateshead Health as our new Associate Director of Allied Health Professionals.
As a key member of the Clinical Support and Screening senior leadership team, you will provide strategic and professional leadership for Allied Health Professionals across the Trust, leading the development of our workforce, services and professional practice.
This is a highly influential role with responsibility for:
Professional leadership of all AHPs across the organisation.
Leading transformation and service redesign programmes.
Developing innovative workforce solutions and talent pipelines.
Delivering high-quality, safe and effective services across acute and community settings.
Driving research, education and quality improvement.
Representing the Trust at regional and national forums and contributing to system-wide priorities.
System leadership and neighbourhood health agenda.
You will work closely with the Chief Nurse/Executive Director for AHPs, Director of Operations and senior clinical leaders to ensure AHP services continue to deliver exceptional patient care while responding to the changing needs of our communities.
You will be:
A registered Allied Health Professional with current HCPC registration.
An experienced senior leader with a strong track record of service transformation and workforce leadership.
An inclusive and compassionate leader who can inspire and engage teams.
Comfortable operating in complex environments and influencing at executive and system level.
Passionate about improving patient outcomes and raising the profile of Allied Health Professional
Based in the North East of England we provide a range of hospital and community health services from our leading facilities, including the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Blaydon urgent care centre and Bensham Hospital, all within Gateshead.
