Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in care homes or within their own homes. Female Care Assistant (Driver)
● Minimum of 7+ hours per day
● Opportunities for additional hours and overtime
● Must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle (preferred)
Female Care Assistant (Non-Driver)
● 4 hours per day
● Ideal for candidates seeking part-time or flexible work
Duties
- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing and mobility
- Support with meal preparation and feeding where necessary
- Help implement and follow personalised care plans tailored to individual needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in condition
- Assist with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals
- Support clients with light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Accompany clients on outings or appointments when required, utilising driving skills if applicable
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and their families to ensure seamless care delivery.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working within a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving transportation of clients
- Good understanding of care plans and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, for effective communication
- Basic IT skills for documentation and record keeping purposes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen empathetically and convey information clearly
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a busy environment
