Night Shift Cleaner
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and experienced Night Shift Cleaner to join our supermarket team.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the supermarket during the night shift.
Duties will include:
- Cleaning and maintaining the butchery area
- Cleaning staff rooms and staff areas
- Cleaning customer and staff toilets
- Cleaning the gym and gym floors
- Cleaning and maintaining the soft play area
- Carrying out general cleaning duties throughout the supermarket
- Sweeping, mopping and maintaining floors
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Using cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly
- Following COSHH, health and safety and company cleaning procedures
- Ensuring all areas are clean, hygienic and ready for customers and staff
- Reporting any maintenance, safety or cleaning issues to management
Requirements
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred
- Supermarket, gym, soft play or similar cleaning experience is an advantage
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to work night shifts
- Good understanding of hygiene and health and safety procedures
- Physically fit and able to carry out cleaning duties across different areas
- Willing to follow instructions and company procedures
Pay: £12.71 per hour
