We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, organised team player to join our small team, working around 30 hours per week as a housekeeper at Tattenhall Marina, located just 9 miles outside Chester.
Main Purpose of Job:
To create a clean and hygienic environment for our guests in our holiday pods.
Reporting Responsibility:
The postholder will report to the Marina Manager

Service and sanitize pods on turnaround days, including changing bed linen, towels, and toiletries.

Hoover or mop floors and clean bathrooms.

Dust furniture, radiators, and walls.

Clean kitchens, including work surfaces, ovens, hobs, and fridges.

Sweep the balcony and remove cobwebs.

Report any maintenance issues to the Marina Manager immediately, including furniture, fittings, and equipment.

Monitor stock levels of toiletries, linen, and condiments; report to the Marina Manager when stock needs ordering.

Monitor the quality of mattresses, bedding, towels, furniture, and items such as coat hangers, kettles, and irons. Advise the Marina Manager when replacement items are required.

Check marketing material is up to date and presented nicely in the pods.

Clean areas accessed by moorers and customers.

Adhere to company policies, procedures, and health and safety laws.

Support other areas of the marina, including the café, as required.
About The Role
Knowledge:

Knowledge of cleaning materials and supplies.
Experience:

Previous experience as a cleaner or housekeeper is desirable.
Skills and Attributes:

Ability to handle heavy cleaning equipment.

Ability to pay attention to detail.

Ability to work with little supervision and as part of a team, while maintaining a high level of performance.
