Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional cocktail Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and delivering excellent customer service. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar environment is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using the till system
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glasses, shakers, and work surfaces
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
- Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and uphold safety standards
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety policies at all times
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming environment, enhancing their overall experience
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or serving roles is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Good understanding of basic maths for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
- A responsible attitude towards alcohol service and customer safety
- A willing to learn and adapt within a team environment
