Join McRoberts Plumbing & Heating, a family-run company based in Kilmarnock, serving Ayrshire and the south side of Glasgow.
We’ve got a rare opening for a reliable, all-round Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our growing team.
What you could be doing
- Boiler installations, servicing, and repairs (mix of private and commercial clients)
- small plumbing and heating works
- Local work – no long-distance travel
- 38 hours a week, Mon–Fri (8:30–5:00)
- Optional overtime + standby rota (1 in 7 weeks) Out of hours work only for our existing clients usually not too busy. Payment on top of advertised salary
- Role can be tailored to your strengths be them installation, service and repair or a mix

What You’ll Need
- CCN1 & CENWAT (minimum preferred although can be booked through us if lapsed )
- Ideally completed a plumbing apprenticeship
- Full UK driving licence
- Tidy, punctual and customer-focused
- Extra qualifications or skills beneficial for example - Bathroom fitting, tiling, wet wall, OFTEC, F-Gas, Air Source, commercial gas, electrical are all a big plus
