We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Coffee Shop Chef / Bistro Chef to join our friendly team at Bojangles Coffee House, a busy independent coffee shop that has been at the heart of our local community for over 14 years.
If you're passionate about good food, take pride in your work, and enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing and cooking our breakfast and lunch menu.
- Producing high-quality homemade food to a consistently high standard.
- Baking and preparing savoury items.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness.
- Monitoring stock and communicating when supplies need replenishing.
- Working closely with the rest of the team to ensure smooth service.
- Contributing ideas for new menu items and seasonal specials.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous kitchen or café experience (preferred but not essential).
- Takes pride in presentation and attention to detail.
- Is organised, hardworking and dependable.
- Can work well under pressure while maintaining high standards.
- Is a genuine team player with a positive attitude.
- Wants to help develop and improve our menu.
- Must be able to work Weekends
