Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ foot and ankle health, including physical examinations and medical history reviews
- Diagnose various foot, ankle, and lower limb conditions such as injuries, deformities, infections, or chronic diseases
- Develop personalized treatment plans that may include medication, physical therapy, orthotics, or minor surgical procedures
- Educate patients on foot health maintenance, injury prevention, and post-treatment care to promote long-term wellness
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using IT systems for documentation and follow-up
- Communicate clearly with patients in English, ensuring they understand their conditions and treatment options
Experience
- Proven experience as a Podiatrist or in a similar podiatric healthcare role
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate and reassure patients of diverse backgrounds
- Proficiency in IT systems for record-keeping, scheduling, and patient management
- Ability to teach patients about foot health practices and post-treatment care
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus but not required
- Right to work in the UK already granted
- Residing within 1 hour of the clinic
