Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial van to complete multiple deliveries across designated routes
- Load and unload goods, often involving heavy lifting and manual handling
- Follow planned delivery schedules accurately while adapting to route changes as needed
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to confirm delivery details or resolve issues
- Conduct vehicle safety checks daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with road safety regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs and delivery confirmations
- Uphold high standards of professionalism, punctuality, and customer service at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role involving multi-drop routes
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; <PERSON> driver certification is preferred
- Experience driving commercial vehicles such as vans or light trucks
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with loading/unloading procedures is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during deliveries
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and safe driving practices
