We have an exciting opportunity to join our Despatch team in Deeside.
This role is working a rotating shift pattern. Mon - Fri 6-2/2-10. 2-10 shift comes with a 15% shift premium.
You will be responsible for safely picking, preparing, inspecting and packing products for dispatch to ensure customer requirements are met. The role will also involve operating a Fork Lift Truck (FLT) to move, load and unload materials in a safe and efficient manner, in line with company procedures and health and safety standards.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Picking and preparing orders ensuring accuracy of orders.
Operate a Fork Lift Truck (FLT) to load, unload and transport materials across the site.
Despatching of products – making sure items are packed correctly for safe delivery to customers.
Use to in house computer system to despatch packages correctly.
Learn the Deeside product range.
Take part in twice yearly stock takes.
Communicate effectively with all employees and perform any reasonable tasks which may be necessary for the efficient running of the business.
FLT licence essential.

Key Functional Competencies and Relevant Experience
Experience in high volume manufacturing environment
Used to working to short lead times and under pressure.
Communication skills
Ability to work “hands on”.
Good problem solving & decision making skills.
Must be flexible and self motivated.
