Green City are seeking experienced self-employed gardeners and grounds maintenance subcontractors to support our growing residential and commercial maintenance contracts across South Birmingham and surrounding areas.
This opportunity is ideal for professional gardeners or small teams looking to secure additional regular weekly work alongside their existing client base.We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who can work independently, maintain high standards, and represent the company professionally on site.
THE ROLE INCLUDES: Grass cutting & lawn maintenance Hedge trimming & reductions Weeding & border maintenance Seasonal garden tidy-ups Shrub & small tree pruning Leaf clearance General grounds maintenance duties Residential & commercial property maintenance

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 2 years professional gardening or grounds maintenance experience Own van or suitable work vehicle Own petrol tools and PPE Ability to work unsupervised to a high standard Good communication and reliability Professional attitude and appearance
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: Petrol mower Petrol hedge trimmer Petrol strimmer Petrol blower Standard garden hand tools (spade, fork, rake, shears etc.)
PREFERRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL: Public liability insurance Waste carriers licence Experience working on commercial grounds maintenance contracts
