Your Role
As Senior Partnerships & Events Manager for Transport for Greater Manchester, you will lead the development and delivery of strategic partnerships with major venues, event organisers and cultural institutions across the city-region. You will identify, create and secure high-value partnerships that integrate into major events, delivering long-term commercial, customer and brand benefits for the Bee Network. You will design compelling partnership propositions that connect brands with real journeys, audiences and experiences, ensuring measurable impact and strong commercial returns. A key focus of the role will be using events as a catalyst to drive both short-term passenger uplift and long-term behaviour change. You will lead the development of campaigns and partnerships aligned to major cultural and sporting moments, encouraging greater use of public transport and positioning it as the preferred mode of travel. You will act as the strategic lead for partnerships and events across TfGM working as the senior point of contact for venues, promoters and partners, and coordinating internal teams to bring forward a clear, compelling and deliverable offer. This is a senior role within the Commercial Relationships team, with responsibility for managing staffing resources, aligning stakeholders across the organisation and ensuring all opportunities are robustly evaluated, prioritised and delivered effectively.

What you’ll bring
You will have proven experience of developing and delivering strategic, commercially focused partnerships that generate customer value and strengthen brand reputation. You will bring a strong understanding of how live events and cultural moments can drive engagement, demand and behavioural change. You will be confident operating at a senior level influencing and negotiating with stakeholders across both public and private sectors, and representing TfGM externally with credibility and impact. You should have strong commercial acumen and a track record of shaping and delivering significant income and growth opportunities, alongside experience of working across complex organisations and aligning multiple teams to deliver shared outcomes. You will also bring experience of delivering high-profile initiatives in fast-paced environments, with the ability to use data and insight to measure performance, evaluate impact and inform future strategy. We would also love you to have knowledge of Greater Manchester’s event and cultural landscape, alongside experience in areas such as transport, place-based marketing, sponsorship or integrated campaigns

This is a permanent role and comes with a salary of £61,407 - £69,118 per annum depending on experience.
