The Lantern Community is a welcoming and inclusive home for 53 adults with diverse abilities, set within 15 acres of beautiful Hampshire countryside. We are looking for compassionate and reliable Waking Night Support Workers to join our dedicated team.
About the Role
You'll provide person-centred support throughout the day and/or during the night, helping residents maintain their independence, wellbeing, and quality of life. This includes implementing support plans, providing one-to-one or shared support, promoting emotional wellbeing, and assisting with daily living tasks where required. You'll also maintain accurate records and work closely with the wider care team.
What We're Looking For
- A caring, person-centred approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, or similar support needs.
- Good written record-keeping skills.
- Level 2/3 Health & Social Care qualification or Care Certificate desirable (training provided).
- UK right to work, satisfactory references, and enhanced DBS.
- Driving licence preferred.
