Dual Registered Manager - Children’s Homes
Location: Anfield, Liverpool
Earnings: £60,000 to £70,000 (DOE)
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Overview
We are supporting an established and growing children’s residential provider who are seeking an experienced Dual Registered Manager to oversee two EBD children’s homes in Anfield, Liverpool.
Both homes are 2 bed homes, are currently operational and have achieved Good Ofsted ratings. The homes are situated close to one another, providing a practical setup for an experienced Manager overseeing both services.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager looking to step into dual registration or an established Dual Registered Manager seeking greater autonomy within a growing independent provider.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Leading the day-to-day management and development of two neighbouring children’s homes.
- Maintaining high standards across both services and ensuring continued Ofsted compliance.
- Ensuring each young person receives individualised care tailored to their emotional, educational, social, cultural and health needs.
- Overseeing placement and care plans and ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated.
- Providing strong leadership, supervision and support to both staff teams.
- Maintaining appropriate staffing levels and developing stable, skilled and motivated teams.
- Building effective relationships with families, local authorities and external professionals.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislation, regulations and best practice within residential childcare.
- Overseeing budgets and ensuring effective service delivery across both homes.
- Working closely with the Responsible Individual and senior leadership team.
- Supporting the continued development and growth of the organisation.
Requirements
- Previous Registered Manager experience within children’s residential care.
- Experience successfully managing an Ofsted-regulated children’s home.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and relevant legislation.
- Experience working with children and young people with EBD.
- Experience overseeing multiple services would be advantageous.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable.
