Tiddly Toes Family Run Pre-School is a small business in Westbourne, PO10 8TG. We are engaging, fun, inclusive, and our goal is to ensure family values are at the core of everything we do. We only opened in Westbourne in 2024 and are looking for someone to help shape our future.
Job Description:
To manage our small baby room and have responsibility for up to 3 under 2's per day. This will include keeping folders up to date, regular planning for next steps and running age appropriate activities for the children in your care alongside EYFS requirements and themes of the month.
In addition, you will need to:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery, primarily with a focus on under 2s.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Monitor and ensure the safety of all children in the nursery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nursery area
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
We are still a new nursery and therefore, for the right person, there will be opportunities to share ideas and help shape our future.
Qualifications:
- Level 3 qualification in childcare
- DSL experience would be advantageous
- Experience with and passion for working with under 2s
- Knowledge of child development and age appropriate activities
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
