Requirements
To support individuals with complex health needs/ learning disabilities live in their own home with 24hr support.
The ideal candidate would have experience of working with adults with Learning Disabilities including individuals who present with behaviours that challenge.
They would also have achieved a minimum of Level 2 NVQ/QCF in care work or similar OR be working towards this level of qualification.
Experience working with individuals with Autism is desirable.
Shifts will be a combination of day shifts, evening shifts and sleep-in shifts. Waking night shift cover may be required for annual leave or sickness cover.
Full training provided to ensure you are able to fulfil the role if you are successful.
The post is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and the cost of which will be met by us.
It is a legal requirement for all Care Workers to be registered with Social Care Wales. Successful candidates will be expected to apply to become registered or already be on the said register.

As we provide our support service 24 hours a day, the hours will be varied, we are looking for a candidate who can work evenings and weekends with some flexibility to cover when necessary.
