What Will You Be Doing?
As an MOT Tester Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out Class 4 MOT testing while also supporting the workshop with servicing, diagnostics, repairs and general vehicle maintenance.
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out Class 4 MOT tests in line with DVSA standards.
- Identifying faults and completing accurate diagnostics.
- Carrying out servicing, repairs and general mechanical work.
- Ensuring vehicles are safe, roadworthy and maintained to a high standard.
- Completing MOT documentation and workshop paperwork accurately.
- Working efficiently while maintaining excellent standards of workmanship.
- Maintaining a safe, clean and professional workshop environment.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced automotive professional who can hit the ground running.
You will need:
- A valid Class 4 MOT Tester licence.
- Previous experience as an MOT Tester.
- Automotive technician or mechanic experience.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability.
- A genuine passion for producing high quality work.
- A full UK driving licence.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
