Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision to support the culinary team
- Ensure all kitchen stations are stocked with necessary supplies and ingredients are stored correctly
- Support the safe disposal of waste and recycling materials in accordance with health standards
- Help with organizing storage areas to keep the kitchen tidy and efficient for daily operations
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold hygiene standards at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Familiarity with basic food preparation and cooking techniques is a plus
- Experience working in hotel kitchens or similar hospitality settings is advantageous
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures related to food handling and sanitation is beneficial
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in a fast-paced environment
