Rutledge Recruitment is currently seeking Skilled Labourers to join our client’s close-knit electrical and mechanical fitting team based in Ballymena. This is a hands-on role working on the reworking and preparation of buses to meet high-quality and safety standards before returning to service.
Work Schedule:
- Hours: 44 hours per week (4 × 12-hour shifts – may vary depending on business needs)

Role Overview:
As a Skilled Labourer, you will support the preparation and refurbishment of vehicles.
Duties will include:
- Removing batteries and cleaning debris and surfaces
- Preparing fixtures, fittings, interiors, and bodywork
- Using hand and air tools for fitting and assembly tasks
- Supporting the wider team to meet deadlines and quality standards
What You Bring:
- Previous experience in a fitting, mechanical, or hands-on role
- Mechanical knowledge (advantageous but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
