Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Labourer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects. Your energy and hands-on approach will help ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, mowing, and general yard upkeep
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery including excavators and irrigation systems under supervision
- Support construction activities by loading/unloading materials, preparing sites, and performing basic assembly tasks
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and functionality
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working on-site to prevent accidents or injuries
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines
- Perform general cleaning and organization of work areas to maintain a safe and productive environment
Requirements
- Prior experience in construction, gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and small machinery such as excavators is advantageous
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods
- Basic understanding of irrigation systems or experience with equipment maintenance is a plus
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions carefully
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation is preferred but not required

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
