Duties and responsibilities related to the Sales & Events Coordinator role
Support the Sales & Events team by coordinating enquiries, preparing proposals and ensuring a seamless client experience from initial enquiry through to event confirmation.
Build strong relationships with clients, responding promptly to enquiries and providing professional, personalised service at every stage of the booking journey.
Prepare contracts, event documentation and other administrative tasks with accuracy, ensuring all client requirements are clearly communicated.
Work collaboratively with the Sales, Groups & Events, Food & Beverage and Operations teams to support the successful planning and delivery of meetings, conferences and social events.
Maintain accurate booking information and client records using hotel systems, ensuring all details are up to date and aligned across departments.
Proactively identify opportunities to maximise revenue through upselling, cross selling and promoting the hotel's products and services.
Contribute to achieving departmental goals by delivering exceptional customer service, supporting sales initiatives and creating memorable guest experiences.
You have previous experience in a sales, events or hospitality coordination role, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You are highly organised, detail oriented and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment. Excellent communication and relationship building skills are essential, and you must have excellent computer skills and be confident using hotel systems and standard Microsoft Office applications.
