Trimmer (Permanent, Full Time)
Starting pay rate is £13.66 per hour.
Pay rate will increase with ability/experience.
Location: Chilwell, Nottingham, NG9 6DX
Hours: 80 hours/fortnight
Gerard Poly Mouldings are manufacturers of moulded products for the aerospace industry. We are dedicated to the design and manufacture of masking products for aero and gas turbine engines allowing our customers to enhance productivity, lower costs and provide repeatability by virtue of reusable moulds.
We are looking for individuals to join our Trimming/Inspection department. No previous experience is required although experience in high dexterity fields/activities including needlework, model painting, pattern cutting etc. may be beneficial. Good hand skills/dexterity and attention to detail are essential.
Duties Include:
· Finishing mouldings by removing flash, feeders, etc.
· Checking finished products for potential quality issues.
· Packing products to customer requirements.
· Ensuring relevant paperwork is signed and completed.

· 9-day fortnight – with flexible start and end times – a typical example is:
Week 1 – Monday – Thursday 6:30am – 4:00pm, Friday 6:30am – 3:00pm
Week 2 – Monday – Thursday 6:30am – 4:00pm, Friday – off
Lunch breaks on workdays are 20-30 minutes.
Starting pay rate is £13.66 per hour.
