Areas of Expertise
We welcome applications from Consultant Psychiatrists with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

Adult psychiatry.
- Child and adolescent psychiatry.
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
- General and complex mental health presentations.
- Capacity and mental state assessments.
- Trauma-related disorders.
- Risk assessment and complex case formulation.
- Criminal proceedings.
- Family and civil proceedings.
- Personal injury and clinical negligence.
- Medico-Legal assessments for Legal Aid and privately funded cases.
Essential Requirements
Applicants should:

Be of Consultant grade.
- Hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).
- Have completed specialty training.
- Have a minimum of five years' post-qualification experience.
- Be GMC registered.
- Be Section 12 approved.
- Previous Medico-Legal report writing experience is desirable.
- Bond Solon or equivalent expert witness training is desirable, although support may be available for suitable candidates wishing to develop in this area.
