Job Description
Lee on the Solent Golf Club is now recruiting an Assistant Greenkeeper.
We would like to hear from hardworking individuals with a passion for greenkeeping and have an keen eye for detail to join our existing Greenkeeping team.
Lee on the Solent Golf Club is set inland from the coast, and is a course that has tested golfing skills for over 115 years. It has recently had some major improvements to the course and is looking forward to carrying on investing in making Lee on the Solent Golf Club one of the best golf clubs in the area.
Requirements
Applicants will need to have a Minimum of 3 years’ experience
Qualified in or working towards NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf Management.
Passionate, enthusiastic, Self-motivated and have a good attitude.
Be an excellent communicator and a team player.
The ability to work in an efficient and effective manner on their own or in a team.
Have good knowledge of the game golf and golf courses.
Chainsaw licence (CS30 Maintenance and crosscutting) would be an advantage but not essential.
Spraying certification (PA1, PA2 & PA6) would be an advantage but not essential.
