As part of our forward‑thinking Hand Outpatient Team, you’ll expand your clinical knowledge in hands and plastics , develop advanced assessment and treatment skills, and contribute directly to high‑quality patient care. This role also includes rotation into the Hand Trauma Co‑ordination position — a pivotal responsibility that helps us optimise both outpatient flow and theatre capacity.

In this role, you will:
Lead nurse‑led clinics — independently reviewing, planning, treating and safely discharging patients with a wide range of hand injuries and conditions.
Work collaboratively across the Hand Unit — complementing and supporting the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver seamless, high‑quality care.
Ensure smooth, efficient clinic flow — helping to maintain a well‑organised, patient‑centred outpatient environment.
Apply specialist expertise in wound care — including plastics post‑operative reviews, to manage complex wounds confidently and effectively.
Co‑ordinate staffing, clinic activity and theatre bookings — playing a key part in maximising service efficiency. This operational leadership responsibility is undertaken on a rotational basis.
