Position: Early Years Apprentice
Location: Mad Hatters Day Nursery – based in Wonderland (aka Solihull)
Hours: Full-time

We're looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Apprentice who is eager to learn, grow, and develop their skills while supporting our wonderful children aged 0–5. No magic required—just a positive attitude, a caring nature, and a willingness to learn (although a little sparkle never hurts!).
Your Adventure (aka What You'll Be Learning)
As an apprentice, you'll work alongside our experienced team while completing your Early Years qualification. You'll learn how to:
- Support fun, play-based learning experiences following the EYFS framework.
- Build positive relationships with children, helping them feel happy, safe, and confident.
- Observe children's learning and development with guidance from experienced practitioners.
- Help create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where every child can thrive.
- Support daily routines, including play, mealtimes, outdoor adventures, and personal care.
- Work with parents and carers in a friendly, professional, and supportive way.
- Be part of a fantastic team and lend a helping hand across different rooms when needed.
Your Magic Powers (aka What We're Looking For)
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- A willingness to learn and complete an Early Years apprenticeship qualification.
- A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and lots of curiosity.
- Creativity, patience, kindness, and a good sense of fun.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- A commitment to keeping children safe and supporting their learning and development every day.
