Due to the exciting expansion of our beautiful, high-end salon, East Lothian Beauty, we are looking for a passionate and motivated Skin & Advanced Treatments Specialist / Beauty Therapist to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a therapist who is passionate about skin health, advanced facial treatments and results-driven skincare, and who wants to develop their career within a luxury salon environment.
We are particularly looking for someone who is enthusiastic about advanced skin treatments and waxing, with the opportunity to build a strong specialist client base while also offering a wide range of beauty treatments.
The Role
You will be carrying out treatments you are qualified and insured to perform, including:
- ✨ Advanced facial treatments
- ✨ Skin Storm
- ✨ Microdermabrasion
- ✨ Microneedling
- ✨ Laser treatments
- ✨ Cryopen
- ✨ Results-driven skincare treatments
- ✨ Full-body waxing
- ✨ Hollywood & intimate waxing
- ✨ Massage
- ✨ Pedicures
- ✨ Lash treatments
- ✨ Brow treatments
There will also be opportunities to receive further training and development in advanced skin treatments, allowing you to expand your treatment portfolio and grow within the business.
Who We’re Looking For
We want someone who is genuinely passionate about skin, advanced treatments and client results.
You will ideally:
- Hold a Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification or equivalent
- Have qualifications/certification in the advanced treatments you wish to perform
- Have a real interest in skin health, skincare and advanced facial treatments
- Be confident and passionate about waxing
- Have excellent attention to detail and high treatment standards
- Take pride in providing exceptional client care
- Have excellent communication and consultation skills
- Be professional, friendly, enthusiastic and motivated
- Be keen to continue learning and developing your skills
- Be confident recommending suitable treatments and homecare to clients
- Have a genuine desire to build long-term relationships with clients
Experience within advanced skin treatments is highly desirable, although we are happy to consider a less experienced therapist with the right qualifications, attitude and passion, as full support and training will be provided where appropriate.
