Combe Hay is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead our residential care home in Scarborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated care professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding, person-centred care.
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring the home operates in full compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations and maintains the highest standards of care, safety, and quality.

Key Responsibilities
Provide effective leadership and operational management of the residential home.
Maintain registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and ensure ongoing compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Lead the service in achieving and sustaining positive CQC outcomes.
Ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
Recruit, develop, and retain a skilled and motivated team.
Manage budgets, resources, and occupancy levels effectively.
Foster positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
Drive continuous improvement and embed a culture of excellence throughout the service.
About You
Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager or care manager within a residential care setting.
Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations, Fundamental Standards, and safeguarding requirements.
Proven track record of leading teams and delivering high-quality care services.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards if not already achieved).
Passionate about improving outcomes and quality of life for older people.
