Accounts Semi Senior – Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire
£28,000 - £35,000 + Career Progression
Clark Wood are recruiting for an Accounts Semi Senior to join a well-established and growing firm of Chartered Accountants in Stoke-on-Trent.
This role would suit an Accounts Semi Senior, Accounts Assistant or AAT Qualified Accountant with previous accountancy practice experience.
The Role
- Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
- Assisting with Corporation Tax computations and returns
- Preparing VAT returns and bookkeeping
- Supporting with management accounts
- Liaising directly with clients and handling queries
- Working closely with Managers and Partners
- Supporting junior team members where required
The Person
- AAT qualified, studying ACA / ACCA or QBE
- At least 2 years' accountancy practice experience
- Experience preparing accounts for a varied client portfolio
- Knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
- Good communication skills
- Keen to develop a career within practice
