We are looking for a talented and reliable full-time Chef to lead our kitchen service. This role is ideal for someone seeking a healthier work-life balance while still working in a fast-paced and professional hospitality environment.
The position is flexible we are covering 7 days with 3 chefs.

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management, along with a passion for delivering high-quality food and excellent customer experiences.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of our lunch service, supervise kitchen operations, and maintain exceptional food quality and safety standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard in line with recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Supervise and support kitchen staff, including training and day-to-day management.
- Ensure all food is prepared safely and in compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Manage stock levels, place orders, and minimise waste to maximise efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen environment at all times.
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Monitor food quality and consistency throughout service.
- Assist with menu planning and development using seasonal ingredients and creative ideas.
- Step up during busy periods and help maintain a positive team environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a professional kitchen environment.
- Previous supervisory or senior chef experience preferred.
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen organisation.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and work effectively within a team.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Hospitality or front-of-house experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Relevant culinary qualifications are desirable but not mandatory.
