2. Gas Cutter / Arc Gouging Operator
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Hours: Full-time (all shifts available)
Salary: £26,000- £48,000 (inclusive of bonus and overtime)

About the Role
You cut excess material from large steel castings using gas cutting and arc air equipment.
Experience helps, but we train anyone with the right mindset.
What You’ll Do
- Use gas cutting and arc air tools to remove sections from castings
- Prepare parts for machining
- Follow cutting instructions and drawings
- Work safely around hot work and lifting operations
- Keep accurate records of completed work
What You Need
- Basic practical skills
- Able to focus and work to instructions
- Understand safety when working with heat and heavy materials
Desirable
- Experience with gas cutting or hot work
- Previous work in heavy industry
