Responsible for: Supporting the senior leadership team in safeguarding the welfare of students at the school as Child Protection Officer, you will deliver across several core areas of the school’s work: safeguarding, training, attendance and well-being.
Working hours: 37 hours per week, 205 days per year (term time plus 3 weeks).
Inspire Learning Trust is a Multi Academy Trust based in Rotherham which also includes Oakwood High School, Sitwell Junior School, Thomas Rotherham College and Winterhill School.
Winterhill schools is looking to appoint a Child Protection Officer, to have responsibility for the day-to-day safeguarding and child protection matters arising at school.
the successful applicant should have a proven track record of developing strong relationships with young people, a thorough grasp of the principles and practices of effective safeguarding, and experience of multi-agency working.
