An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Duty Manager to join the Ulster Reform Club in Belfast. The Ulster Reform Club, established in 1885, is an exclusive private members club in the heart of Belfast City Centre.
We pride ourselves on Hospitality, Conviviality & Individuality, offering a bespoke and high-quality food and beverage service to our members. This is an ideal venue for a wide range of private member-only conferences, banqueting and celebrations as well as a busy local food and beverage operation in our Members Dining Room.
With a focus on growth and further development of the daily Operations at the Ulster Reform Club we are looking for a confident Duty Manager to support and run the day-to-day Operations of our Members Bar and Dining Room, Club & Member Events, as well as helping to deal with daily member queries.

What will I be doing?
This position will play an integral role in day-to-day operations.
You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
· Acting as a Duty Manager, overseeing Club Operations and performing closing duties.
· Assist in the setup, operation and clearing up of events, Dining Room, Members Bar & Function Rooms,
· Pleasantly, greet & seat members and their guests at tables,
· Take food & drink orders,
· Operate the till system,
· Setting up and clearing tables,
· Ensure a high standard of cleanliness & tidiness in all working areas,
· Provide the highest levels of service to Members and their guests,
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate for the Duty Manager will have:
· Held a similar role previously.
· 4- or 5-star experience, in either hotels, events or hospitality setting.
· Understanding of Food & Beverage service.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office,
· Knowledge & experience of first-class service delivery.
· Attention to detail.
· Passion for delivering exceptional levels of service.
What we are offering
This is a full-time position, of 39 hours per week working maximum 5 days out of 7, that will be based on the operational requirements of the Club.
We are offering a competitive salary of £30k per annum.
In addition, Staff Fund payment (gratuities) which is paid at the end of the year as a bonus in December and January.
You will receive a total of 30 days annual leave per year, pro-rata, with our holiday year running from April 1st to March 31st.
Currently, c.15 days per year are customary closures, these include Public Holidays as well as Christmas closures from the evening of Christmas Eve until early January.
