Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Assistant

Empowering Learning is seeking qualified Nursery Assistants to work within a large and welcoming nursery setting in Prenton.
This opportunity would suit an experienced early years professional who is passionate about helping babies, toddlers and preschool children learn, develop and feel secure.
Candidates must hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare, early years or nursery education.
The role will include:
- Providing high-quality care for children aged 0-5
- Supporting learning through creative and play-based activities
- Delivering activities in line with the EYFS
- Encouraging children's language and social development
- Supporting children with personal care and daily routines
- Maintaining a safe and stimulating nursery environment
- Communicating effectively with parents and nursery colleagues
- Following safeguarding and nursery policies
Essential requirements:
- A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 childcare or nursery qualification
- Previous nursery or early years experience
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- A patient, positive and nurturing approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- An enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one
- Suitable professional references
