Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a 7.5 tonne removal lorry to deliver goods efficiently and securely to various locations as part of 2 and 3 man teams. Your dedication to excellent service and adherence to safety standards will ensure smooth operations and satisfied customers.
Duties
- Safely operate a removal HGV Class 2 vehicle to complete removals across designated routes
- Load and unload goods with care, ensuring proper securing of cargo for transportation
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety and compliance standards
- Follow all traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs and delivery notes
- Assist with warehouse duties or other tasks as needed to support team operations
Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 2 driving license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a commercial driver, particularly with removal vehicles or delivery routes
- Knowledge of safe loading, securing, and transporting goods using removal trucks
- Strong understanding of driving regulations and safety protocols for commercial vehicles
- Delivery driver experience preferred, with excellent time management skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and securing cargo when necessary

Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
