We are currently looking for a Housing Officer to join our Housing Team, due to a colleague’s pending retirement.
The successful candidate will have a housing-related qualification (equivalent to at least CIH Level 4) or relevant experience in a similar role. They should also be a member of a professional housing body. In addition, they will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of:
· Managing a busy workload across a wide range of housing services
· Identifying support requirements and providing a referral and advice service
· Conducting pre-let interviews, accompanied viewings and sign-ups
· Working alongside other colleagues to support income management processes
· Working to set standards, frameworks, performance measures and protocols
· Establishing effective external working relationships with partners and external stakeholders
A full driving licence and access to a car for business use is essential for this role.
