Are you a reliable & friendly chef local to Canterbury? We're looking for a passionate individual to join our busy kitchen team!
About the Role: Immediate Start
We require a dedicated Part-Time Chef to contribute to the smooth and efficient running of our kitchen. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking quality dishes, maintaining kitchen hygiene standards, and working effectively as part of a team (with no early mornings or late finishes).
We would require someone with the flexibility to work between 20-30 hours (normally Monday to Thursday but sometimes a weekend shift too), staff holiday's (including weekends) and events.
In addition, we would require someone to work a few more hours over the Christmas Party period (23rd November-24th December). This would be approximately 30-35 hours. We are closed Christmas Day.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of chef experience working in a fast-paced, busy kitchen environment. Training will be on-going.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Friendliness: Ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
- Hygiene: Strong understanding and adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Availability: Monday- Thursday and 1 day at the weekend (but not every weekend).
