Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Part 2 Scaffolder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, disassembling, and maintaining scaffolding structures on-site, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Duties
- Erect, alter, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Inspect scaffolding components regularly for damage or wear and report any issues immediately.
- Ensure all scaffolding is secure and stable before use by other team members.
- Assist with the transportation and organisation of scaffolding materials on-site.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters, roofers, or masons to facilitate project progress.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
- Follow all site-specific safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment for all personnel.
Skills
- Proven experience in scaffolding, with relevant certification (e.g., Part 2 Scaffolders Ticket).
- Strong knowledge of construction practices including carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, welding, electrical work, and fabrication is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and safety instructions accurately.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail for inspection and assembly tasks.
- Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks and work at heights comfortably.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety compliance and effective communication within the team. Pay: £180.00-£200.00 per day
