Duties
- Manage and supervise the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation and presentation

- Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency, quality, and timely delivery
- Lead, motivate, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and controlling waste
- Train staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety procedures, and hospitality service standards
- Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery during busy periods
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen setting
- Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food production and preparation
- Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to lead and develop staff effectively
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential
- Strong cooking skills across various cuisines and food styles
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Experience in managing food service operations, including serving processes
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant qualifications in culinary arts or hospitality management are preferred
