We’re excited to be bringing the spirit of Barcelona to Mere Green and are looking for an experienced, reliable and hardworking Restaurant Cleaner with a keen eye for detail to help keep our restaurant clean, safe, and welcoming for both customers and our team.
You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the building, including customer areas, toilets, staff areas, and back-of-house spaces. Your work will play an important part in creating a great experience for our customers and ensuring the business meets all hygiene and safety standards.

Cleaning Duties

Clean restaurant floors, stairs, skirting boards, lights and seating areas.

Clean & maintain customer & staff toilets, ensuring soap dispensers are full.

Empty bins and dispose of waste correctly.

Keep entrances, walkways, and outside areas tidy.

Carry out additional cleaning tasks and deep cleaning when required.
Hygiene & Safety

Follow all cleaning procedures and health & safety guidelines.

Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.

Report any hazards, breakages, or maintenance issues to management.

Help maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the venue.
General Responsibilities

Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and report shortages.

Store cleaning equipment safely and correctly after use.

Work closely with the restaurant team to maintain a clean environment.

Be flexible and assist with additional cleaning duties when required.
