Overview To assist In the housekeeping department efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures whilst ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in all bedrooms, all public areas, corridors and back of house housekeeping areas.
Main Responsibilities
- To report to Head Housekeeper any guest request or room maintenance required.
- To respect guest privacy at all times
- To check standard of linen supply to guest rooms and return any damaged linen to the linen room.
- Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms
- Check that all appliances are present in the rooms and in full working order
- Remove all litter from the rooms and dispose in the correct way
- Make up beds, clean and set up sitting room, bedroom and bathroom promptly, in accordance with the hotels standards
- Hoover corridors, clean tables, fire doors, skirting boards and window sills
- Ensure all public areas are maintained and checked regularly
- Hand over list of un-serviced rooms and suites and any special requests for the following day to the Head Housekeeper
- To carry out spring cleaning of rooms as scheduled by the Head Housekeeper
- Return and log all lost property found to the Head Housekeeper
- Carry out any other relevant duties as requested by the Hotel Management / Directors
- Ensure a safe working environment
- To maintain the highest standard of professionalism, ethics and attitude towards guests and colleagues
- To be proactive in self development
- Comply with all Company Policies and legal requirements with special reference to Health and Safety
Pay: £12.71 per hour
