Job Summary: Community Carer
St Piran Community Care is an inspiring and innovative start-up on a mission to transform how care is delivered. We are forward-thinking, tech-driven, and dedicated to supporting the Perranporth community with an Outstanding level of service.
We are currently seeking registration with the CQC (Care Quality Commission). While we do not provide personal care at this exact moment, we will be doing so in the near future. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team from the ground up and help shape a service built on dignity, connection, and joy.
The Role at a Glance
- Pay: £14.35 per hour
- Paid Travel Time
- Mileage: 55p per mile
- Location: Perranporth and surrounding areas
- Employment Type: Part-time
- Schedule: Currently Monday–Friday; however, working alternate weekends will be a formal term of the role as the service expands.
Key Responsibilities
- Lifestyle Partnership: Helping clients design their day, from preparing nutritious meals to attending local social clubs.
- Health Advocacy: Monitoring wellbeing with a proactive approach, spotting small changes before they become big issues.
- Technological Integration: Utilising the OnCare platform to log real-time insights, ensuring families stay connected.
- Future Care: Transitioning into providing personal care once CQC registration is finalised.

Requirements
- A valid driver’s licence with business insurance and access to a vehicle is required.
- Successful candidates must undergo an enhanced background check.
- Commitment to alternate weekend working is a requirement of the position.
