We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with a positive attitude, providing help where necessary.
- Perform basic maths calculations for billing and payments.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.
Skills
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience.
- Basic culinary knowledge is beneficial for understanding menu offerings.
- Proficiency in basic maths for handling transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is preferred but can be taught on the job.
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is an advantage but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key.
