We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee all kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role involves managing food production, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Head Chef will play a vital role in menu development, staff supervision, and maintaining the overall quality of our culinary offerings.
Duties
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Oversee daily food production, ensuring dishes meet quality and consistency standards
- Develop innovative menus in collaboration with management, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to optimise profitability
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment and encouraging professional development
- Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders and excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area at all times
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen setting
- Extensive food production knowledge with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques

Pay: £37,500.00-£40,000.00 per year
