Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Carer to join our team, committed to providing exceptional support and care to individuals in their homes or care home settings. Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, ensuring dignity and comfort at all times
- Develop and follow individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to meet specific health and wellbeing needs
- Support clients with medication management and health monitoring as directed by healthcare providers
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental wellbeing and social engagement
- Maintain accurate documentation of care activities, observations, and any changes in clients’ conditions using IT systems or paper records
- Assist with light household tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning to support independence at home or in care settings
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and team members to ensure seamless delivery of care services
Experience
- Previous experience working as a Carer or in a similar role within a care home or home care environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills in English to interact confidently with clients, families, and colleagues
- Basic IT literacy for maintaining accurate records and following digital care plans
- Valid driving license is advantageous for roles involving travel between client locations or community-based support
- Knowledge of care plans, health & safety protocols, and safeguarding procedures is desirable
