Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Polisher - Bodyshop Technician - Car Detailer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicle exteriors to their pristine condition through expert polishing and detailing techniques. Your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will ensure every vehicle leaves our shop looking flawless, delivering exceptional results that meet our high standards.
Duties
- Perform polishing, buffing, and finishing work to restore vehicle paintwork to a smooth, glossy finish
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to prepare surfaces for polishing or detailing
- Assist with minor body repairs and surface preparation as needed
- Conduct heavy lifting of vehicles or parts safely during detailing or repair processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify areas requiring special attention or additional work
- Follow all safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines during all procedures
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle surfaces and bodywork processes
- Experience with hand tools and power tools used in polishing and detailing tasks
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks consistently
- Prior experience in auto body shops, detailing, or similar environments is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
