We are seeking an baling shed operator to join our production team supervising the automated baling machines. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, contributing directly to our mission of delivering top-quality pet products.
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery efficiently to produce high-quality pet products
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent downtime
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
- Assist in heavy lifting and material handling as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Document production data accurately for reporting purposes
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge relevant to operating machinery specifically balers.
- Experience with heavy lifting and physical labour
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 per week
